Winter Driving
Winter tyres are mandatory from the 1st November until 1st April with a minimum tread depth of 4mm. Snow chains are mandatory where instructed.

Electronic toll system in use for vehicles of GVW greater than 3500kg.
Driving Restrictions
Vehicles with a GVW exceeding 7500kg are prohibited from travelling on Sundays and public holidays from 13:00 to 22:00 on motorways, trunk roads and 1st class roads.
Winter Driving
Winter tires compulsory from November 1 to March 31 depending on road conditions in winter or if indicated by sign. M+S tires are compulsory on the drive axle of vehicles 3500kg GVW with a minimum of 6mm tread depth.
It is not compulsory to carry snow chains aboard vehicles in the Czech Republic. However, chains must be fitted when traffic signs indicate. When used, a minimum of one pair of chains must be fitted to the drive axle. Vehicles fitted with chains must not exceed a speed of 50 km/h.
