Driver Attestation

The driver attestation is a uniform document certifying that the driver of a vehicle carrying out road haulage operations between Member States is either lawfully employed by the EU transport operator concerned in the Member State in which the operator is established, or lawfully placed at the disposal of that operator.

As of 4 December 2011 the subject of driver attestation will be governed by Regulation (EC) No 1072/2009. This legislation replaces Regulation (EC) No 484/2002 amending Council Regulations (EEC) No 881/92 and (EEC) No 3118/93.
